Skinfood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream

Excellent, with 85% coverage. Worked very well on people with open pores. Smells heavenly too. Texture is light to medium. I think this is discontinued as this is not on Skinfood Malaysia website anymore.3.7stars for this product

ElishaCoy Diamond Shiny Pearl BB 

Where is the Diamond? Where is the Pearl? Nothing. No glowing effect to skin. My dull face stayed dull. Also, it is dark for my skintone. May suitable for NC40 above. 2 stars

Etude House Collagen Moistfull BB 

The bottle is quite weird for me at first. However, 4.7 stars for this BB Cream. Excellent coverage and light texture. Skin look fresh and energized.

Skin79 The Premier Gold BB Cream

I had a sample sachet of it. I am very impressed of the first wearing. Looked very suitable for my skintone and skin look very dewy. I loved that look so much! However on second wearing it looks ordinary. I lost the dewy effect. I wonder why it could that be. 3.5stars

Skylake Natural Multi BB

Excellent coverage but I think its a bit cakey for me. Quite heavy finish. 2.7 stars

Etude House Precious Mineral Cotton Fit BB

No major comments. I use light beige and coverage is good. A bit heavy texture. 4 stars for this product

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO)

This will be a short review on VCO. My son has developed eczema on his face due to breastfeeding for too long. This boy is very naughty, he keeps making bubbles of breast milk and the bubbles bursting all over his face. I just can wipe his face with warm water but this type of eczema (Malays called it kurap susu) came back after healed after 3 weeks. Keep surfing the net, I was stumbled into blogs that mentioned this kind of eczema can be healed by applying VCO.

So I just give it a try. I have a bottle of cold pressed VCO which I planned to use for perineum massage (that was another story!), Yep, it works for my baby! I don't have to worry if he accidentally ate the antifungal cream prescribed by doctor. The skin is moisturized too! I use Tanamera VCO

Virgin coconut oil is different from other cooking oils in that it has medium-chain fatty acids rather than long-chain fatty acids. It also contains caprylic acid, capric acid, and lauric acid, all good compounds that are beneficial to our health. VCO is obtained from fresh coconut milk using the ‘Integrated Wet and Dry Process’ without any heat or chemical application.

It has so many benefits, it can aid in weight loss, promote better digestion, aiding to more efficient thyroid especially patients with hypothyroidism like me :(

Creed Perfume Vials

Creed is one brand of niche perfume designer that I have chance to tried. This brand is famous among men, their creations for women are less attractive if compared to men. But I love Creed Acqua Fiorentina, one of the most finest floral fruity perfume that I have came across. But my funds are low, I already waited for two years to lay my hands on the full bottle. Wish me luck someday to get it ;)

Creed Spring Flower is floral fruity perfume with fruity, fresh and aquatic as its main accords (credit to Fragrantica). My comment is it smells so sour :( I have high hopes in this but it disappoints me.

Creed Silver Mountain Water is in aromatic perfume group with main accords of green, citrus and fruity. I have never smell this, I failed to get my husband to test as he dislike dab on vials.

Miss Dior EDP

My favourite perfume seller announced sale in conjunction to Hari Raya. What a shame, sale in the time we all need money for Raya preparation, but stil I could not resist LOL.
So I reached out my perfume vials stash and voila! Today we tested Miss Dior EDP.

In among fans of Miss Dior range, many are eluded by Miss Dior range melodrama. Too many versions and reformulations. They keep discontinued too. I have tested few types of Miss Dior, and still couldn't find my favourite. Most are smelling like common floral perfume, nothing special. Main accords of Miss Dior EDP are citrus, patchouli, and white floral which I can smell all in balance.

So, now I save money! No full bottle purchase for this one! Ah, I love perfume vials :)

Baby Heat Rash

When my son is 3 weeks old had heat rash around his neck. I am not sure the factor which trigger this condition since we sleep in air conditioned room at controlled temperature 28C (is it too hot? But its a lot colder than typical closed room temperature in Malaysia. Also I did not keen to keep my baby in cold room which might trigger asthma and gas). A traditional healer gave me natural remedy to this heat rash which I found very effective. Cut bitter melon (also known as bitter gourd or bitter squash) into small pieces and boil them with a pinch of salt. Table salt will do. After the baby having his regular bath, just do the final rinsing with the boiled water of the bitter melon. Try it, no harm in practicing natural remedy. :)

Thyroid Disease

I am sick reaching out for Levothyroxine every morning. Hypothyroidism is only can be controlled by consuming synthetic thyroxine hormone to replace the low level of thyroxine due to underactive thyroid gland. So I am sharing here Islamic ritual to heal thyroid diseases as told by Ustaz Sharhan Shafie; Recite Al Fatihah, Al Qursi and Al Mukminun verse 11 to 14 to honey. Consume it with faith to Allah.

Just bought a bottle of Pahang honey, I am gonna try this method. :)

Just when I start breastfeeding my baby I knew about this innovative product. I got this together with my purchase of Medela Swing. The teat looks very weird to me but the way it works truly amazing. The tip is quite wide, giving the impression that the milk will flow over. Milk will only flow when baby applied sucking pressure and the strength of the flow also according to the applied pressure so the way of milk feeding behaviour is very much alike of direct feeding. Only one size of teat is suitable for the entire breastfeeding period. Although its quite pricey but the use is simple as baby will learn to bottle feeding easily. Only the disadvantage of Calma teat is many parts to dismantle for washing and look quite alien LOL. For more info you can always refer to official Medela website here.
